Inspired by the mesmerizing beauty of the sea and its creatures, these wash basins are really stunning, and they are made of ceramic of the highest possible quality. The basins will integrate well into any area, regardless of whether you are going for a more conventional or more contemporary approach to the décor of your home. The sinks are crafted by hand in Morocco by artists who use nuanced designs and carvings of fish scales to create them. The color used here is completely eco-friendly natural colors. These sinks give the impression that they were made in the middle of the 20th century. On the countertop that you have decided to go with, the contemporary basin, which has edges that are defined but are yet smooth, will fit well. It won't take long for this one-of-a-kind basin to become the focal point of attention in your lavatory when you install it with its distinctive design. This exquisite layout for a basin bowl is suitable for use with faucets that are installed on the countertop or on the wall, depending on your preference. A wash basin in the bathroom that has a glaze covering makes it challenging for dirt and grime to adhere to the surface of the basin. This makes it easier to keep the wash basin clean. As a result, the process of cleaning it is not overly complicated.
The clay used for making these tiles is a substance that can only be found in Fes City, in a location known as "Ben Jellik." Then the clay is brought to a different place and left to dry for 20 days. After breaking it into little pieces with a big hammer when it is dry, they are left to dry again for an entire day before being immersed in water for two days. Then, the artists try to get rid of any rocks or other things that don't belong in the clay before moving on. Then the processed clay is used to make the subtle patterns, depending on where the zellige would be used. Due to the amount of sunlight this place gets, this process can only happen in Fes.
The processed clay is then baked in the oven for 8 hours at 2000 °C. Then the natural colors are used to paint the surface with vivid detailing. After that, the products are coated with shiny material and glazed for another 8 hours to give them a sturdy texture. The Zellige can withstand any temperature, and the colors remain long-lasting.
In the last stage, the zellige is coated with "La Resin" and flipped downwards to dry. After drying, the products are ready to be shipped. This is how Fes artisans painstakingly make each of these breathtaking pieces of home decor.
