The table’s stunning design celebrates the cultural diversity of Moroccan handicrafts. The use of rich colors, traditional patterns, and geometric arrangements embodies the harmony between modern aesthetics and ancient tradition.
The process begins in Fes, where clay is dried for 20 days, cleaned, and soaked for two days. Artisans hand-shape each piece, fire it at 2000°C for eight hours, paint it with natural pigments, glaze for durability and shine, and then fire it again. The result is a durable, heat-resistant, and food-safe ceramic tagine that beautifully embodies Moroccan heritage.
The clay is sun-dried for 20 days, cleaned, and soaked for two more. Skilled artisans hand-shape each piece, fire it at 2000°C for 8 hours, paint it with natural pigments, glaze it for shine, and fire it again for durability. The zellige tiles are then intricately arranged by master craftsmen known as Nekkach, who use “la resin” to assemble stunning mosaic patterns inspired by centuries-old Moroccan art.
