This lovely oval mosaic table is perfect for sharing a meal or cup of coffee with friends and family while engaging in deep conversation. The magnificent tables have been elaborately decorated with brilliant and vibrant designs to create an inviting atmosphere. These detailed patterns are hand-made using genuine Moroccan Zellige tiles and the bright blue color enhances its beauty even more. Clay, a material unique to Fes, is mined only there, at a location known as Ben.
In Fes, clay is dried for 20 days, broken, cleaned, and soaked for two days. Artisans shape it into vases, jars, and plates by hand, bake at 2000°C for 8 hours, paint with natural colors, coat for shine, and bake again. The products are durable for daily use. Zellige tiles are baked, painted, and designed with intricate patterns by the Nekkach. Assembled with "la resin," these tiles showcase Fes’s craftsmanship inspired by ancient designs.
