Unique Production Process:

• Clay Source: The clay used is unique to Fes City, specifically from "Ben Jellik."

• Drying: The clay is dried for 20 days, smashed into smaller pieces, dried again for a day, and soaked in water for two days.

• Cleaning: The clay is meticulously cleaned to remove any rocks or debris.

• Shaping: Artisans hand-shape the clay into beautiful flower vases, jars, plates, and more, using techniques passed down through generations.

• Baking: The items are baked at 2000°C for 8 hours.

Natural Coloring:

• Painting: The products are painted with natural colors sourced from the earth, using horse hair brushes.

• Variety: We use a variety of colors, including blue, red, and black.

• Coating: After painting, the products receive a shiny coat and are baked again for another 8 hours.

Zellige Decoration:

• Pattern Design: Nekkach decides on the pattern, inspired by ancient designs from places like Karaouiyn and royal palaces.

• Geometric Arrangement: The Zellige is arranged in a geometric pattern and coated with "La resin" or "cola sima" before being left to dry.

• Final Touch: Once flipped over, the beautiful design is revealed, showcasing the intricate craftsmanship.
