Bracelet of Lapis Lazuli stone pearls, blue fish and white shell in third-fire decorated ceramic.
Bracelet with fish, star, gold and stones
Bracelet of Lapis Lazuli stone beads, blue fish and white shell in ceramic decorated with third fire. The entire model is cut into two halves, hollowed out by digging out excess clay, and then closed again. This delicate operation gives the earring a pleasant lightness and perfect portability. The bracelet is without a clasp, very easy to wear because it is made up of a double elastic thread at 6 knots. Very durable and long-lasting. Bracelet suitable for a medium wrist (An average wrist has a wrist circumference of 17/18 cm. The wrist measurement is taken by turning a thread around the wrist and then measuring it in centimeters). On order it is possible to change the length of the wrist circumference.
Gold third-fire decoration
Decorating with gold with third firing (third firing) is an ancient technique that is performed on ceramics by applying liquid gold mixed with a fondant with a brush. At a temperature of 750° centigrade, the gold is welded to the vitrified body of the ceramic. The gold used for NatureWit ceramics is 18 carats.
Naturewit by Maria Aurora Manetti
All Naturewit ceramic products are rigorously and entirely handmade, by me. My name is Maria Aurora Manetti and I am a Florentine artisan ceramist. The brand was born from my love for nature and for everything that is green, sustainable and possibly self-produced. Ceramics, being basically clay and glass, is the right material for my idea of art. Since I was a child I have always lived in the countryside around Florence, surrounded by olive trees and vineyards. From here I developed my artistic sensibility and desire to create. Observing nature, I realized that there is a spirit behind everything and it is to this spirit that my art is dedicated.
Ceramic and gold-plated jewellery
All Naturewit jewellery is handmade. The clay, white terracotta, is fired in a ceramic kiln at 1000°C, colors and glazes are applied, i.e. metal oxides and crystalline. The second firing for melting the glass reaches 920° centigrade. The seahorse is decorated with 18K gold, with a third fire. The third firing (third firing) at 750° allows the gold to melt on the vitrified body of the ceramic.
